Berni Ruhmanseder - voc, guit, writing, composing Jochen Reidinger - dr, perc, production Stefan Lindenbauer - guit, bass Ingolf "Martin" Eder - bass Berni was born in 1976, the year "Hotel California" was released. And maybe thats one reason, why he soon had a close relationship to music. When he was seven he figured out playing the piano. A few years later, he started playing the guitar, b ut extraordinary and distinctive is his raspy and velvety voice. A nyhow, it is perspicuous that things went this way. His father was a drummer in an early 60ies rock'n'roll band, his mother sang in several gospel formations, and his younger brother is a rock organist aswell. Finding his musical home in the 70ies and early 80ies, p revalent in the rock and singer/songwriter profession of this time with such great acts as the Eagles, Journey, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and many more, he wants to keep this kind of music alive in the new century. So he founded his first band at the age of 17, called "Live Wire". This band still exists as a special unplugged-performing act. His first song, Berni wrote at the age of fourteen, now he's got plenty of them. Jochen was born in 1975. He started playing drums when he was 6 years old. At the age of ten, he had his first commitment in a rockband, called "Spaghetties". When his father, who was a drummer too, got injured, he took place instead of him in the band "Discovery". Many bands and projects followed, many hours of learning and practicing. In the meanwhile he studied in Vienna at the "Hochschule für Musik & darstellende Kunst". He is very concerned with learning the recording-business, exeptionally mixing & mastering. His "heart-project" is "Neuland", which has developed out of "Fritz & the Cats". Now, as David Haider, the lead singer of "Neuland" is very successful as "manuel normal", Jochen has to work a lot with this band. He is a very professionel drummer, with many studio jobs and even more live jobs. Stefan was born in 1976. He also derives from a very musical family. All family-members play some instruments. Early, he started playing the guitar. First in music-schools, later at "Anton Bruckner Konservatorium" in Linz. There he graduated in 2004 and became "Bachelor of Arts". He is a guitar-teacher and a bandmate of Jochen at "Neuland" & "manuel normal". In 2001 he won the worldwide "Open Strings Festival" in Osnabrück/Germany. He attended many mastercourses with international master practitioners. Stefan does a very, very good job in every particular. Ingo was born in 1971. His parents soon recognized, that he had a fantastic music-feeling. That was the reason, why they early enabled him to learn playing the guitar, but soon he found out, that playing the bass was his thing. Ingo started playing in several bands, as "Fritz & the Cats", a national amusement-band. After stoping the "Fritz"-project, he followed his bandmates Jochen and Stefan, founding a new band called "Neuland". Very exciting. With their singer David "Manuel Normal" Haider they all play at "Manuel Normal". He is very professional, extreme concentrated and a very important part of AMICK. home
